Streete Wildlife Club
Well, done to the Streete Wildlife Club, who presented a Cheque of €4000 in aid of St Fintan's National School Lismacaffrey recently. This very generous amount was raised from the proceeds of the Game Tasting Night held in Lisryan on the 6th of February last. The Club would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came out and made the night a tremendous success.
Streete Vintage Club
Some of our members travelled up to Virginia in Co. Cavan to support the Virginia Cars & Coffee event in aid of Virginia Cancer Fund last Sunday 15th. A great morning and a tremendous turnout. Congratulations to Alan & all the team. We also attended and took part in the Delvin St Patrick's Day parade on Sunday 15th. We witnessed the four seasons in one hour, however it didn't dampen the spirits of the attendees. Congratulations and well done to all involved.
Boherquill Ramblers
The Ramblers visited Ballymahon on Sunday 8 March 2026, a beautiful spring day with lambs in the fields as well as daffodils and young trees planted along the banks of the Royal Canal between Brannigan’s harbour and Longford bridge. The group continued as far as Archie’s Bridge before turning back to base at Ballymahon Mart for their post-walk refreshments.
On Sunday 22 March 2026 Dierdre Leavy will lead a 9km walk with a 4km option at Corclaragh Lough near Edgeworthstown. Cars will meet 1.45 pm at Edgeworthstown Church or at Corclaragh Gun Club at 2pm. To reach the Gun Club drive 3km from Edgeworthstown on the R395 Castlepollard road and turn right onto the L51613 side road to continue on to the gun club car park. Boots are needed for this road and farm track walk. Visit: Boherquill Ramblers.
Coolamber ICA Guild
The Irish Countrywomen’s Association. The ICA ladies meet up on the first Tuesday of every month in Streete Parish Park at 19:00 (7PM), new members are always welcome to attend for more info call Sinead Butler on (087) 996 8138.

Pickleball, is on every Monday mornings and is doing very well, why not come along and take part in this easy to play game in great company. 10:00 AM till 11.30 AM.
Daffodil Day Coffee Morning
Linda Butler, tells me; the annual Daffodil Day and coffee morning is on Friday 20th of March in Streete Parish Park from 10 AM until 2 o’clock. We ask that you please come out to support and contribute to this very worthy cause. We look forward to meeting new and familiar faces for a chat over a cup of tea or coffee along with some beautiful culinary delights.
