Boherquill Ramblers
On Sunday 22 March 2026 Deirdre Leavy led a Ramblers walk close to Corclaragh Lough near Edgeworthstown. The spell of sunny weather was continuing and primrose flowers were a common sight on the roadside ditches during the walk. Thank you to Deirdre for leading such an enjoyable walk. Sunday 5 April is Easter Sunday so there will be no walk. All the Ramblers are wished a happy and healthy Easter. On Sunday 12 April the Ramblers will meet in The Square in Castlepollard for a walk out to Clonteens near the back entrance to Tullynally Castle. Visit: Boherquill Ramblers.
Coolamber ICA Guild
The Irish Countrywomen’s Association. The ICA ladies meet up on the first Tuesday of every month in Streete Parish Park at 19:00 (7PM), new members are always welcome to attend for more info call Sinead Butler on (087) 996 8138.
Streete Warriors Basketball
Streete Warriors held a very successful Bounceathon, fun raising event last Friday April 10th from around 18:00 (6 PM) until 21:00 (9 AM). The club really appreciate your support and would be delighted to receive any donations where at all possible.

Social Dance
Magic Moments provided a great night of dancing last Friday night; the lads always provide a fantastic night, and we look forward to having back in the future. Next month we have more live entertainment Kieran Donohue, from Galway is very popular in the west of the country. So, tell all your dancing friends Streete Parish Park is the place to be on Friday night 24th of April. Doors open at 9 pm, raffle and super served all for only €10.

Daffodil Day Coffee Morning
Janet and Linda Butler, and their team of volunteers, have updated me on the money raised for to the Irish Cancer Society on daffodil day, your generosity this year raised a whopping, total of €1542.10 A fantastic achievement and thank you to all involved. This will greatly help in the progress to fight this disease and help to save lives. Thank You.
Easter Egg Treasure Hunt
The Pastoral council have planned an ester egg hunt after mass in in the grounds of Boherquill church after 10 Am mass on Easter Sunday morning. A special golden egg is hidden and the first to find it will receive a wonderful prize. No age restriction and all are welcome to take part.
Condolences
Deepest Sympathies Egan family
Deepest sympathies are expressed to the Egan family, Kilmore on the sad passing of Dominic Egan. Kilmore, Streete and formerly of Glanmore, Kenagh, Co. Longford. Predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy and brothers, Eamon, Francis and Michael. Dominic will be greatly missed by his daughter Jennifer (Lyons) and son Liam, cherished grandchildren Aoife, Eamonn, Aoibhinn, Conor and Adam, his daughter-in-law Fiona, son-in-law Morgan, brothers Paddy (Glanmore) and Tom (Castlepollard), sisters-in-law Mary Weldon and Bridget Heavey brother-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces, cousins and wide circle of cherished friends and neighbours. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
